About
Born in Empoli in 1949 and trained in chemistry and science, Bagnoli has developed a career deeply influenced by scientific and philosophical thought. Since the late 1970s, his work has been presented at leading international events such as the Venice Biennale and Documenta in Kassel. His multidisciplinary practice integrates sculpture, installation, sound, and light to explore perception as a form of knowledge, creating sensory environments in which the viewer becomes an active participant.
